This position requires leadership of a multidisciplinary team to conduct comprehensive assessments of in vivo capabilities and quality. The Manager will ensure the selection of external vivarium partners aligns with our organizational strategy, championing the principles of the 3Rs (Replacement, Reduction, and Refinement) while addressing quality concerns and potential scientific impacts.\rKey Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with team members across various scientific fields to lead in vivo capability and quality assessments of external business partners.
  • Lead external vivarium planning to advance organizational strategy.
  • Promote a culture of care for animals, serving as an advocate for the 3Rs in all scientific assessments to elevate study quality and expectations.
  • Provide guidance to resolve quality concerns, ensuring an understanding of their potential scientific implications.
  • Participate on various local and global committees to represent the company externally.
  • Cultivate a collaborative environment that engages and influences diverse collaborator groups to achieve shared goals and a unified vision.
  • Demonstrate innovation and adaptability in a fast-paced environment to deliver high-quality results with minimal direction.
  • Conduct business process reviews focusing on continuous improvement and operational efficiencies.
  • Engage in organizational harmonization initiatives, acting as an effective change agent.
  • Must complete all annual training requirements and perform all work per appropriate applicable policies and standards.
  • Perform other duties and matrix manages team members as assigned.\r\r
