of our Pimsleur Language Learning division, this new role would
ensure seamless data integration between marketing, ecom, backend
technology solutions. Oversee our first-party data across our
technology stack including data ingestion, hygiene, and syndication
while ensuring compliance with privacy regulations. This role
requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic thinking,
project management and collaboration with cross-functional teams to
drive operational excellence.Responsibilities:
- Oversee the integration and maintenance of data pipelines
across systems, ensuring seamless and efficient data flow.
- Project manage various development and maintenance projects,
working with vendors and cross-functionally to ensure flawless
delivery of enhancements and systems upgrades.
- Design and implement processes and standards to maintain data
accuracy, consistency, and reliability.
- Map data flows, order tracking and system integrations.
Diagnose and resolve issues related to data flows, and performance
bottlenecks.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation and ensure compliance with
privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and data security
standards.
- Implement and maintain server-side tracking and data
integrations (e.g., Facebook Conversions API) to enhance marketing
attribution and optimize campaign performance.
- Act as a liaison between developers, analysts, marketers, and
decision-makers to align data strategies with business
objectives.
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across systems by managing
imports, exports, extracts, file transfers, and integrations with
external platforms, including Salesforce Service Cloud, Amplitude,
native backend systems and e-commerce platforms.
- Work with Legal, IT and Privacy team to document and manage
first party data and PII. Ensure compliance with privacy
regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and data security standards.
- Serve as a key point of contact for vendors and external
partners managing marketing technologies.QualificationsRequired
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or
a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in operations, with a focus on system
integrations and data management.
- Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Salesforce Sales
and Service Cloud, CDPs.
- In-depth knowledge of first-party data strategies and their
application in business processes.
- Experience with APIs, data integration tools, and database
management systems.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex
data.Preferred
- Experience in direct response marketing or digital learning
businesses.
- Certification in relevant marketing platforms or
methodologies.
- Strong project management skills and familiarity with tools
like Confluence, Jira, or Trello.
- Proficiency with tag management solutions (e.g., Tealium,
